BONUS PROGRAM
Engage PR has a discretionary bonus program that allows employees to earn additional income, beyond their normal salary.
401(k) PLAN
Offered through Merrill Lynch and managed by BISYS, the Engage PR 401(k) plan enables employees to save for their retirement. Along with a variety of investment vehicles, Engage PR offers a generous company match.
VACATION
Full-time employees will receive 10 days of paid vacation per year. Vacation accrual increases to 15 days after three years of employment and 20 days after five years.
HOLIDAYS
Engage PR observes paid holidays in accordance with client holiday schedules.
HEALTH INSURANCE
Engage PR covers the full employee cost of a comprehensive Kaiser HMO plan. Employees can increase coverage for themselves and their dependents at their own expense by opting for other plans, including Kaiser plans with lower co-pays or Blue Shield PPOs and HMOs. Engage PR also covers the cost of an alternative care plan for acupuncture and chiropractic care for all eligible employees.
DENTAL & VISION INSURANCE
Engage PR covers the full employee cost of dental and vision insurance, which is provided by Guardian.
LIFE INSURANCE, LONG- AND SHORT-TERM DISABILITY
Life insurance and long- and short-term disability benefits are available to all eligible employees. These benefits are employer paid. Employees can opt for additional life insurance for themselves and/or their families at their own expense.
COMMUTER RELIEF
Engage PR's Alameda office is served by public transportation; Engage PR reimburses half the daily round-trip fare to encourage employees to use it. To help manage escalating fuel costs, the company offers a monthly stipend, based on actual mileage, to those whose round-trip commute is more than 45 miles. Employees who carpool some or all of the time receive an additional stipend. Employees who upgrade to a car with 25 percent or better gas mileage than their current car receive a one-time bonus of $100. If a car has 50 percent or better gas mileage, the one-time bonus is $200.
SOMETHING HEALTHY
Engage PR provides a $50 per month allowance for use toward gym membership, massage, dance class, or other activities that are beneficial to your physical or mental health. Employees can also use these funds toward FasTrak or commuter checks. Engage PR also offers a discounted, no-enrollment-fee membership to 24-Hour Fitness Clubs throughout the Bay Area.
CASUAL DRESS
The environment at Engage PR is professional while being fun and comfortable. You can even wear jeans to work.
SHORT FRIDAYS
To help employees balance personal and professional lives, Engage PR closes at 2:00 p.m. every Friday.
